Korean War - Impacts & Aftermath (Korean War pt.3/3)

The impacts and aftermath of the Korean War were so influential that they are still felt to this day. The DMZ, created between North and South Korea and the Sino-Soviet Split were just a few impacts from the "forgotten" war.

@Conflicts in History Another great video; keep up the good work. Also, do you think there is a possibility that North Korea will fall in our lifetimes?

I agree; North Korean missiles can already hit South Korea and Japan, but if Kim Jong Un dared to hit either Seoul or Tokyo, the U.S. would remove the North Korean government from existence

I think it will be more like Iraq and Afghanistan They will be invaded, and the government will be overthrown, after that the US will stay there for a while until a new more western friendly government is installed. Then US will gradually leave. The state however will remain in isolation, since I doubt non of the boarding nations (China, Russia nor South Korea) will allow for the citizens to enter their territory. I doubt that North Korea will pose a treat to US, however Japan and South Korea is in danger.

Mikael Wendt also, Kim Jong I'm is insane, but he's not insane enough to nuke the United States and risk being overthrown

Mikael Wendt ok, but what if war was to happen. Let's say North Korea did actually nuke the United States or any of its allies. We would surely invade, and it would either have to be either reunited with South Korea, or become an American occupation zone for at least 10 years.

I find it very unlikely that they will. DDR or East Germany was actually the most prosperous and successful communist state that have ever existed, and they were "only" separated from the Western part of the nation for ~40 years. Even on these mild terms the reunification of Germany was at a huge expense estimated to 250b € North Korea on the other hand have been separated for almost 70 years, and their standard of living is extremely low. The expense for a reintegration for South Korea would be so humongous, since 1/3 of their population would suddenly be illiterate.

Here I am again, finding myself quite annoying for keep bugging you with this, but I had a really hard time understanding you. Part 2 was much better than this one. Here's what you need to do: speak slower speak clearer / louder make breaks after each sentence sound more enthusiastic / exited (Try to exaggerate it as much as you can, like you are some radio sales person, chances are that it wont even sound that weird due to you being in the exact other end of the spectra at the moment ) You sound like you are bored with the content, which I know you are not. There should be a lot of KOplayers video tutorials on how to speak publicly or as a host, I really recommend that you spend some time on those. After that practice and listen to yourself, and make someone else listen to a sample, they should easily could point out how to improve, if you don't have anyone is a proper speaker themselves, I would gladly help you out. However this channel got enormous potential, and its clear that you are putting a lot of effort into it, and the context and visuals are very well done. Also it's not unusual for new KOplayers'rs to have some startup issues, but in your case its only a minor one. I will keep repeating myself until your voice is like Ted Williams (golden voice)
